About Chez Bettie

Let me introduce you to Chez Bettie, a relaxed restaurant tucked into the ZI des Blanchisseries on Rue Louis Leprince Ringuet in 38500 Voiron, France, a spot locals often mention when they want something easygoing yet thoughtfully prepared. From the moment you arrive, Chez Bettie feels approachable rather than fussy, which makes it a comfortable choice whether you are stopping by during a busy day or settling in for an unhurried meal. The menu leans into variety, and that is part of the charm, because you will find options that work for different tastes and lifestyles, including halal food, vegetarian plates, and lighter, healthy options that do not feel like an afterthought. At the same time, it also works well when you just want a quick bite, so the experience adapts naturally to your schedule. Service options are flexible too, and that flexibility matters, since you can choose to dine in, grab takeaway, order delivery, or enjoy outdoor seating when the weather cooperates, which adds a casual, social energy to the visit. Drinks are part of the picture as well, with alcohol and beer available for those who like to pair their meal with something refreshing, and this balance keeps the place feeling inclusive without being overwhelming. What I like most when talking about Chez Bettie is how it fits into everyday life in Voiron, because it does not try to be something it is not, and instead focuses on being reliable, friendly, and easy to enjoy. Whether you are new to the area or simply rotating through your usual lunch and dinner spots, Chez Bettie slips naturally into that routine, offering food choices that feel considered, service that respects your time, and an atmosphere that encourages you to come as you are and enjoy the moment, while keeping the focus on simple pleasures, steady quality, and a dining rhythm that feels natural rather than staged.

Best Burger and Chips in Voiron I reckon. Homemade chips, wide-cut but thin at the same time, made from real potatoes and perfectly cooked. I had a Bacon burger and my daughter had a Classic burger. Both were delicious with excellent quality ingredients. Good volume in the burgers (not the flat, withered burgers you get in some restaurants). Just the right amount of seasoning and sauce (not drowned in it). The staff were very pleasant and took care that our table was clean (outside) and that we were happy with our position (sun, etc..). We did not try the deserts, but will do so next time. They had local products such as local beers and local soft drinks which is good, but I only spotted them as I was leaving. Finally, the food was served without excessive waste (minimum wrapping , just the right amount of napkins, right amount of sauce, etc..) so reducing the waste. Very tasty, excellent value for money, pleasant and professional staff. We will be back! Yum!
